Black Needle |

"High mountain yields high quality tea" Chinese
people often say. And the southern part of Yunnan, with an altitude of
about 2000
metres, its fertile soil and misty conditions, produces some of the finest
teas in the world. This combined with traditional hand processing methods
assures the tea produced in this region to be of the highest quality.
The uniqueness of Black Needle is it looks 'black', but will change to green when steeped. This unique tea is carefully made of very dark green, hand-plucked single buds. Enjoy this tea in a glass pot and watch the leaves point straight down, needle like, as they float in the water. It's smooth appearance and almost black colour will produce a golden brew with a slightly sweet chestnutty taste. |
