Buche de Noelle |
||
| Legend
says that French bakers
invented this dessert as a symbolic replacement for the fireplace log,
or Buche de Noel, because households in Paris were required to keep
their chimneys closed during
the winter. Not being allowed to have a fire in their fireplace prevented Parisians from being able to enjoy
many of the French Christmas traditions. We've recreated the flavors of this decadently rich dessert, omitting the calories, for a fun, flavorful, dessert tea. Rich, dark chocolate, buttery caramel and nutty almonds are blended with high-quality black leaves for a unique blend. Get creative and enjoy this delicious dessert tea in different ways - perhaps frothy with steamed milk in your favorite mug, or with a splash of rum, or scoop of vanilla ice cream. Have fun! |
