Darjeeling (2nd Flush) FTGFOP1

Darjeeling is located in the northeast corner of India, near the border of Sikkim. Situated at an altitude of 7,000 ft, the region commands majestic views of the Himalayas. The luxuriant vegetation is a plant lover’s paradise with the finest blends of tea coming from the famous tea gardens of this region.

The second flush plucking (end of May through June) produces a more fully developed tea than first flush (March through April). This classic Darjeeling produces a clear, brisk cup with an exquisite and complex bouquet with its distinctive "Muscatel" character. A wonderful value for a second flush "champagne of teas".
