Darjeeling (2nd Flush) FTGFOP1 |
||
| Darjeeling
is located in the northeast corner of India, near the border of Sikkim.
Situated at
an altitude of 7,000 ft, the region commands majestic views of the Himalayas.
The luxuriant vegetation is a plant lovers paradise with the finest
blends of tea coming from the famous tea gardens of this region. The second flush plucking (end of May through June) produces a more fully developed tea than first flush (March through April). This blend of classic Darjeelings from some of the most prestigious estates produces a clear, brisk cup with an exquisite and complex bouquet with the very distinctive "Muscatel" character. A wonderful blend of second flush "champagne of teas". |
