Machi |
||
| A
Machi is a shaman or good witch in the Mapuche culture
of South America. They are spititual leaders and may function as witch-doctors
or even herbalists. With
the beneficial effects of both ginger and honey, the name Machi seems
to lend itself perfectly to this blend. The ginger root plant has proven
medicinal
effects from a digestive aid to boosting
the pumping
action of the heart. And a new study shows that a daily dose of honey
does more than just satisfy your sweet tooth, it also raises levels
of disease-fighting
antioxidants in the blood. We've combined the best of both to produce this pungent, yet with a hint of sweetness brew. "From-the-hive" honey and robust ginger blended with a premium grade, organic Sencha, the results are a tea that will soon become one of your favourites. To be enjoyed any time of the day or evening. |
