| Jasmine Dragon Pearls |
||
| Native
to the Persian Gulf area, sweet, soothing, fragrant Jasmine was introduced
to China around the third century. Since that time, China
has been enjoying jasmine infused tea. Because jasmine blooms open only at
night, this is when processing takes place. The long, feathery spring-picked
buds are infused with the jasmine blossoms several times during the scenting
process. After refiring, the buds are hand-rolled into delicate pearls.
The pearls produce a gentle brew with a delicate perfume and light golden colour. This tea should be served and enjoyed at meals and celebrations everywhere. Enjoy this tea not only for its taste, but for its presentation. The tinkling of the pearls and the unfurling of the leaf is a spiritual and meditative experience. |
