| With
the gaining popularity of Thai cuisine, more and more of us are enjoying
Thai tea, whether hot or iced. Thai tea is generally strong black
tea, which very closely resembles Indian chai.
Thai tea is also black
tea to
which various spices are added. And as with chai, no two recipes
are exactly the same. Our special blend has cinnamon, ginger, vanilla
and
cardamom. It's very fragrant and delicious. Although Western teas are generally steeped for five minutes, in Thailand, tea may be steeped for almost half-an-hour, very much like Indian chai. It's then sweetened with sugar and cream. |
