Keemun 1st Grade |
||
| Keemun
is one of the most popular congou (black) teas from China, and is used in many of our favourite blends. Because of its deep
winey, almost orchid-like flavor, it is often referred to as the "Burgundy
of teas". This leaf with its distinctive fragrance has long
been the favorite tea of the Queen of England. Grown in the northern province of Anhui, Keemun is one
of the smallest of China's provinces. This region has been famous for its tea since
the 7th century.
You do not need to spend a fortune to enjoy an exceptional tea. This excellent grade of Keemun has a rich dark red liquor with a complex, orchid-like flavor and a smooth mellow cup. A wonderful tea for any time, day or night. Our favorite mid-afternoon delight. Takes very well to milk. |
