Lemon Ginger |
|||
Ginger is among the most important and valued of all the spices. Today, the plant grows in tropical regions all over the world and plays an important part in many cuisines. Native to southeast Asia, ginger has been used for over 4,000 years for medicinal purposes. Of the ginger plant, the root has proven medicinal effects from a digestive aid to boosting the pumping action of the heart. Whether pickled, dried or fresh, we all know the fresh, spicy and pungent taste ginger adds to any dish. And we've combined that pungency and sweet, tangy lemon with a high quality Ceylon black, resulting in a tea that will soon become one of your favourites. The citrus character of the tea is enhanced with the pungent notes of ginger, resulting in an aromatic brew. Perfect for your afternoon cup. Tart and tangy, yet smooth and full-bodied with a golden red liquor and intoxicating aroma. |
