Lichee Green |
||
| One of China's
most popular fruits, the lichee gives this green tea its sweet, almost
citrus flavor. Legend has it that Emperor Xuan Zong lost his throne
because he paid too much attention to the beautiful Lady Yang Yuhuan.
Doing anything he could to make her happy, he arranged to have her
favorite fruit, the lichee, brought by horsemen riding day and night
from the south of China. With a natural sweetness and light tart flavour, this brew has a golden-green liquor and aromatic fragrance. This is a very popular tea to be enjoyed any time of the day. |
