The stage for the tragedy is set. We meet the beautiful Cio-Cio San, a geisha, but still fragile, unworldly, and in love with the handsome US naval officer, Pinkerton. The tale unfolds with song and music to capture the feelings of love, yearning and pain.

In tribute to the beautiful Cio-Cio, we've created this elegant tea. Japanese Sencha combined with sweet, luscious peaches. Simple, but moving. Bits of dried peaches and sunflower petals add to its beauty. With the natural sweetness of peaches, this brew has a golden liquor and aromatic bouquet. This is an excellent tea to be enjoyed with a very good friend at twilight. Especially delicious on a warm summer night over crushed ice.

To Prepare
Madame Butterfly is best when brewed with spring water at a temperature of 170° to 180° for 2 to 3 minutes. Do not overbrew. We recommend one rounded teaspoon for every 8 ounces. You can easily enjoy 2 infusions.
