Premium Mao Feng Green |

An old Chinese legend says that the mountainous area where this tea is grown is misty and cloudy because a young woman, taken as a concubine from her lover, was able to escape only to find her lover's body deep in the mountains. She wept so until her tears became rain. From these misty mountains of central Zhejiang province, comes one of China's most popular teas. This premium mao feng, or hairpoint, is carefully made of very dark, green, almost hairlike leaves, gently twisted during its firing. The dark green hairlike leaves of this tea will produce a very fragrant brew, reminiscent of chestnuts. With its golden colour and refreshingly sweet aftertaste, this is a tea to be enjoyed each day. |
