Moroccan Dreams |
|||
There are as many combinations of spiced tea in India as there are people. Spice tea, or Chai, is generally made using black tea from the Nilgiri region and a blend of spices, and every region, family, and chai dukan (tea house) has their own 'special' recipe. This one adds a touch of mocha to the spice mixture for a rich, chocolatey touch. Don't be afraid to use your imagination with this wonderful brew. For a Chai Milkshake add a scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream. For a Chai-puccino, steam the milk and sprinkle with cinnamon or cocoa powder. How about a Chai Toddy adding a splash of your favorite liqueur. |

To
Prepare Moroccan Dreams may be brewed with milk or without. We enjoy ours best when brewed for 10 minutes or more with equal parts water and milk and 1 teaspoon tea for every 8 ounces of liquid. After brewing, strain into a pot, sweeten as desired. Reheat as needed. |
