Bend Black Dragon |
|||
| In
the northern Fujian Province of China lies Mount Wuyi with its very
steep, redstone rocks, with peaks above 1,500 feet. The landscape
features winding streams with these dome-shaped cliffs. Meandering
through these dramatic rocky peaks is the Nine Bend River. It's crevices
once held hundreds of boat-shaped coffins, some still visible. Should
you visit be sure to take a rafting trip down the river and through
the gorges. The rafts are quite comfortable with bamboo chairs and
two polers to navigate the bends. From this breath-taking area comes
this exceptional, full-bodied black tea with its deep winey flavor.
The flat, shiny, black leaves of this tea produce a rich, full-bodied cup with a burgundy flavor and pronounced aroma. To be savoured and enjoyed anytime of the day, but especially at sunrise. For true tea connoisseurs. |
