Organic Keemun Mao Feng |
||
| In the north of China, Anhui is one of the smallest of China's provinces and has been famous for its tea since the 7th century. The main areas of cultivation are north of the Yangtze on the slopes of the Ta-pieh Mountains, and on the Paichi Mountains along the Anhwei-Chekiang border. Often referred to as the "Burgundy of teas" for its winey, deep flavor, this organically-produced Keemun is carefully made of very fine, almost hairlike leaves, gently twisted. "Red" tea, as it is referred to by the Chinese, with an exquisite aroma and rich, orchid-like flavor.
This 'organic' Keemun is exceptional. With its rich dark liquor and smooth mellow cup, it yields a full-bodied brew with a complex, orchid-like flavor. A wonderful tea for any time, day or night. Takes very well to milk. |
