Premium Sencha

Sencha is available in a wide variety of qualities. This Premium grade is a wonderful tea for everyday as well as special occasions. The young leaves are plucked in early spring and steamed to seal in freshness. The rolling process gives this leaf its needle-like shape, often called 'spider legs'.

The dark green, flat leaves produce a golden-green liquor with a light vegetal flavour and aromatic brew. This is a very popular tea to be enjoyed any time of the day.

To Prepare
Premium Grade Sencha is best when brewed with spring water at a temperature of 160° to 180° for 2 minutes. Do not overbrew. Use one full teaspoon for every 8 ounces. You can easily enjoy 3 infusions.
