Pu-erh Golden Bud

  The Yunnan Province in China, with its high craggy mountains, abundant rainfall and rich, dark soil, produces world-class black teas, which some consider the most exquisite teas in the world. Most notably, this area produces black, or "hong" teas and Pu-erh teas.

For Pu-erh lovers, the mantra is "the older, the better" - until now. With this blend of fine aged pu-erh and rare, hand-plucked Yunnan buds, Nirvana is achieved. Soon they'll have to admit this is now their favourite.

The beautiful golden buds mingled with the dark earthy leaves produce a liquor that is dark amber in colour with a gentle, aromatic bouquet. The smooth, rich flavour is dark and mysterious, but very mellow.
To Prepare
Pu-erh Golden Bud
is best when brewed with spring water at a temperature of 200° to 210° for 3 minutes. Some prefer to infuse for 30 seconds and discard. Then refill and infuse for 3 minutes. Whatever your taste, you can expect many infusions.
