Mini Tuo-Cha or Small Bowl Tea are hand-shaped bowls of compressed brown-black tea. Highly valued for centuries, Pu-erh tea cakes were given as a gift from the Emperor of China to the King of England in 1806. Pu-erh has long been considered to have health benefits, from lowering high cholesterol to aiding indigestion. Mellow, earthy, even 'old' describe its taste. These bowls are perfect for traveling. Use one bowl for a large mug or small pot and enjoy its many infusions. It has a dark, full-bodied brew with a distinctive earthy taste. |

To
Prepare Pu-erh Mini Tuo Cha is best when brewed with spring water at a temperature of 212° for 3 minutes. Some prefer to discard the first infusion. Experiment and let your taste decide. This tea will sustain its flavor through multiple infusions. |
