Pu-erh Superior |
||
|
The mystery tea
of China. Legend says that when this tea was carried from its high
mountainous area by horse caravans to the tea markets in the south,
they had to go through tropical rain forests. The tea became damp
and the leaves fermented. As a result, the tea was earthy, even musty.
Now, the leaves are aged from two to twenty years to achieve this
special flavor. Lovers of Pu-erh all agree, 'the older the better'. This brew is dark and mysterious. An earthy taste, full-bodied, but very mellow and smooth. This tea is long valued for its medicinal benefits. Enjoy after your evening meal. |
