Americans have discovered Chai, the spice tea of India. Chai is made using black tea from the Nilgiri region and a heady blend of masala spices. The spices generally used are a combination of cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg, cloves, ginger, black pepper, star anise and cloves. This enticing blend combines pumpkin and vanilla with our 'secret' combination of spices. You can substitute soy milk, rice milk or low-fat milk when making any of our Chais. For best results, do not use fat free milk. Cane sugar, brown sugar, honey or molasses are all wonderful sweeteners. |

To
Prepare Pumpkin Spice may be brewed with milk or without. We enjoy ours best when brewed for 10 minutes or more with equal parts water and milk and 1 teaspoon for every 8 ounces. After brewing, strain into a pot, sweeten as desired. Reheat as needed. |
