White Peony |
|||
White teas are very rare. Originally from wild mountain trees, this tea comes from the famous tea-producing Fujian province in China. Only spring picked buds with one leaf are used to produce this tea. Very beautiful to look at, the white downy leaves gently mixed with green give the appearance of miniature blossoms. These leaves are not heat treated. They are steamed and left to wither naturally. The liquor is a pale golden colour. The taste is delicate and smooth
with a fresh aroma. A wonderful evening tea when all you want to do is
remember. |
