The
Bird Yixing (pronounced EE-Shing) teapots date back 2000 years to the Sung Dynasty. Now, as then, each piece is shaped by hand and left unglazed. Made from the most porous clay of the Jiangsu Province in China, these teapots are the apex of tea holding vessels. The designs are based upon themes from nature and Chinese mythology. Whether austere, whimsical or fantasy, they are true collectibles. 10 oz., 5" high, rinse only. ORDER A-0026 - $49.50 |
