Yunnan province in China produces some of the most exquisite teas
in the world. Very easily
identified, Yunnans are thick, broad leaves with
downy leaf buds. Grown in organic tea gardens, less than 2,000kg of
this exquisite tea is produced each year. This very rare, hand-plucked
and processed, spring picked Yunnan is comprised solely of golden buds.
Highly prized by tea connoisseurs, this tea is
given as a tribute to visiting foreign dignitaries
and China's top leaders. The beautiful golden buds produce a liquor that is amber in colour, and exhibits a gentle aroma. With an aromatic bouquet, the smooth, rich, sweet flavour with lingering notes of honey and spice has no astringency. |

To
Prepare Yunnan Gold Tip is best when brewed with spring water at a temperature of 200° for 3 to 4 minutes. We recommend one heaping teaspooon for every 8 ounces. You can easily enjoy this tea through 2 or more infusions. |
